Subject: Measurement of dynamic magnetization in time domain and frequency domain
Speaker: Prof. Kazuto Kodama
Time:3:00PM, Oct.26, 2016
Venue:Room 1102
Brief introduction to the speaker:
Prof. Kazuto Kodama, vice director of Center for Advanced Marine Core Research (KCC), a research facility jointly managed by Kochi University and Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology. KCC is one of the three IODP core repositories in the world.
Prof. Kazuto Kodama is specialized in paleomagnetism, rock magnetism and environmental magnetism, and authored the Japanese text book of “Paleomagnetism”. The recent personal favour is rock magnetism of loess/paleosol based on a new susceptibility measurement technique.
