Using ultra high sensitivity of accelerator mass spectrometry technology, we focus on the researches of high precision geochronology, cosmic event detection, environmental process tracing of cosmogenic nuclides, and a comparative study of planetary geology; studying strengthening the biogeochemical cycle of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen and tracing process, and obtaining the high resolution environmental change information, to provide the technical support platform for earth and environmental studies.

The AMS Center is composed of three laboratories:

• Stable Isotope Laboratory 
• Laboratory of Earth Surface Processes and Chemical Weathering
